We’ve touched on this topic before, albeit in a tongue-in-cheek kind of fashion, but it’s getting harder and harder to resist the idea that we have in Ødegaard the kind of generational talent that can almost single-footedly elevate an entire squad. I can’t for the life of me think of the last time we had a blond, nonchalant but cold-blooded, one-footed midfielder who could turn a game on its head with a single flick, through-ball, or shot.
